"Josie"
Josie is one of the first puppies I bred for and whelped the litter. This was the beginning of SANJO SHELTIES. I have really enjoyed breeding and look forward to each new puppy as I have worked hard in being selective in my breeding program. I love to produce prospective winners in the show ring! Now that Josie is retired, I have been working hard on getting Josie's daughter "Page" out into the dog show ring. Finally! Success! Page and I have earned enough points to finish her with a Canadian championship.
Josie is now 14 years old and is showing her age, she is hard of hearing ( close to Deaf) . She is still barking at the horses every chance she gets and is teaching all the younger dogs how to bark at horses. I thought she would quit doing that a long time ago, but NO she enjoys what she is doing! It is so hard to believe that 14 years have gone by so fast. I have spent a lot of time and done a lot with Josie, conformation dog shows , obedience classes, herding clinics and she also had 4 litters of pups.
I just wish I would have had more time to show her off in her younger years, but I had to take time out to have and raise my own litter, Jason! My son! This did slow me down for a while, but now that he is crate trained......
